1. In order to conduct further co-operation in the adoption and implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA) in Myanmar’s banking sector, the Office of the Auditor General of the Union (OAG) and German International Cooperation (GIZ) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, Nay Pyi Taw on 6th November, 2018.

The Auditor General of the Union received the delegate of Deloitte Touche Myanmar Vigour Advisory Limited Mission
1. U Maw Than, Union Auditor General received the delegation from Deloitte South East Asia, SEA, led by Mr. Phillip Yuen, Chief Executive Officer, at the Office of the Auditor General of the Union (OAGM), Nay Pyi Taw at 3:00 PM on 4th October, 2018.
1. U Maw Than, the Auditor General of the Union received ADB Mission led by Mr. Newin Sinsiri, Country Director, at the Office of the Auditor General of the Union (OAGM), Nay Pyi Taw at 2:00 p.m on 28th September, 2018.
2. In this meeting, they discussed the provision of ADB’s Technical Assistance to OAGM and future support, the matters of Quality Assurance for Audit and outsourcing for the ADB funded projects auditing in Myanmar.
