1. Workshop on Report Writing for Performance Audit and Capacity Development of Performance Audit Unit, led by Ms. Oda Krogh Laeret, Ms. Hege Maaso, Mr. Haakon Haugevik Jernsletten, Mr.Felix Paul Rober and Mr. Ingvald Heldal, advisors from the Office of the Auditor General of Norway (OAGN), was held in the Meeting Room of the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, Nay Pyi Taw from 17th to 28th February, 2020.
2. In the workshop, the experts from OAGN introduced performance audit and discussed the processes of conducting performance audit from pre-study phase to reporting phase along with the practices of Norway and exercises, answered the questions raised by the participants, conducted group discussions, discussed the organization of the Performance Audit Unit, ways and matters regarding the capacity building of the staff.
3. By holding the Workshop, the participants gained knowledge about the processes, techniques and procedures in the Performance Audit, best practices regarding Human Resources.
4. Fourteen staff from Performance Audit Unit of the Office of the Auditor General of the Union and nine responsible officials from the other Audit Departments attended the workshop.
