The 14th Collective Maha Kathina donation ceremony of the Office of the Auditor General of the Union was held at the Bayargyi and the Yadanar Bhumithara monasteries at 09:00 am on 12 November, 2021. Maha Kathina robe and offertories, kyats 4,811,200 in cash and worth kyats 3,756,800 in kind, totaling amount kyats 8,568,000 were offered to the monks. Venerable Sayadaws recited the Paritta Suttas, preached a sermon and merits were shared for the donations made.
The donation ceremony of Kyats 1,123,000 donated by the Union Auditor General and staff members for the nuns in Visakharponnamigonwai philanthropic nunnery where Buddhist Scriptures were taught was held at Visakharponnamigonwai nunnery in Lewe Township, Naypyitaw, at 9:00 am on 12 November, 2021, and donations were offered to the nuns by the responsible personnel from the Office of the Auditor General of the Union.
