INTOSAI Development Initiative-IDI and Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions-ASOSAI jointly held the IDI-ASOSAI SAI Leadership and Key Stakeholder Conversation Webinar at 12:30 pm on 7th December 2020. At the webinar, the representatives from the leadership of ASOSAI and stakeholders attended.
At the meeting, IDI introduced the objectives and processes of the Global Cooperative Compliance Audits of Transparency, Accountability and Inclusiveness of the use of emergency funding for COVID-19 (TAI Audits). Then SAI China, SAI Indonesia, SAI Maldives and INTOSAI Compliance Audit Subcommittee shared their respective experiences and lessons learned from the audits of emergency funding for COVID-19. The International Budget Partnership-IBP and the World Bank discussed the stakeholders’ perspectives on TAI Audits, and the IDI and the ASOSAI discussed the way forward on TAI Audits.
At the meeting, the Union Auditor General, the Permanent Secretary, the Director General (Audit Department), the Deputy Director General (Audit/ Methodology) and responsible officials were present.
