The Auditor General of the Union received the Danish Public Accounts Committee

  1. U Maw Than, the Auditor General of the Union, received the delegation led by Mr.Henrik Thorup, Chairman of the Danish Public Accounts Committee, at the Meeting Room of the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, Nay Pyi Taw, at 11:00 a.m on 31st October, 2019.
  2. During the meeting, they discussed the relations and collaborations between the Joint Public Accounts Committee and the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, how Audit findings are uploaded to the website for publication, recruitment of the staff, actions taken if corruption is found in auditing process, internal audit functions and challenges of the Office of the Auditor General of the Union.   
  3. The Permanent Secretary, Director General (Audit Department), the Deputy Director Generals and responsible persons from the Office of the Auditor General of the Union attended the meeting.
