U Maw Than, the Auditor General of the Union, received the delegation from the World Bank led by Mr. Christopher Fabling, Public Financial Management Specialist, at the Call Room of the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, Nay Pyi Taw at 9:30 a.m on 28th May, 2019.
During the meeting, they discussed conducting IPSAS gap analysis, preparing IFRS transition plan and the proposed timing of Public Sector Accounting Conference regarding the transition of Public Sector Accounting Standards and Financial Reporting in accordance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards-IPSAS and International Financial Reporting Standards – IFRS, jointly organized by the Office of the Auditor General of the Union and the Ministry of Planning and Finance with the participation of MAC, MICPA and other Stakeholders.
The Permanent Secretary, the Deputy Directors General and responsible persons from the Office of the Auditor General of the Union attended the meeting.
