11th Collective Maha Kathina donation ceremony of the Office of the Auditor General of the Union was held at the assembly hall of the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, office building No.12, Nay Pyi Taw at 9:30 a.m on 16 November, 2018. Maha Kathina robe and offertories, kyats 5,494,600 in cash and worth kyats 3,248,230 in kind, totaling amount kyats 8,742,830 were offered to the monks of the Bayargyi and the Yadanar Bhumithara monasteries. Venerable Sayadaws recited the Paritta Suttas, preached a sermon and merits for the donations made were shared.
The Auditor General of the Union, the Permanent Secretary, the Director General (Audit Department), the Deputy Permanent Secretary, Deputy Directors General, Directors and staff attended the ceremony.
