1. U Maw Than, the Auditor General of the Union received the delegation from European Union (EU) led by Mr. Thomas Thomsen, Senior Development Consultant at the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, Nay Pyi Taw at 10:00 A.M onthe 10th October, 2016.
2. In the meeting, they discussed about the budgetsupport from EU to the Officeofthe Auditor GeneralUnion through a 3 year “twinning” arrangement with the UK NationalAudit Office, the remark and view of the Union Auditor General upon on this process andthe key priorities that the OAG wishes to address with its audit work over the next few years.
3. At the meeting, the PermanentSecretary,the Director General (Audit Department) and responsible officers from the Office of the Auditor General of the Union were also present.
