1. U Maw Than, the Auditor General of the Union received the delegation led by Mr. Rob Taliercio, Manager, East Asia Region, Governance Practice, World Bank at the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, Nay Pyi Taw at 2:00 P.M on the 20th September, 2016.
2. In the meeting, they discussed about the implementation of Component D2 for Public Finance Management project and the possible new initiatives going forward including the proposed accounting reforms which is the implementation of International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSASs) that the OAG has proposed.
3. At the meeting, the Director General (Audit Department) and the responsible officers from the Office of the Auditor General of the Union were also present.
