1. Performance Audit and Compliance Audit Report Writing Workshop, led by advisors from the Office of the Auditor General of Norway (OAGN), Mrs. Ingvild Gulbrandsen, Ms. Ann-Kristin Nymo, Mr. Anders Pilskog and Mr. Ingvald Heldal, and attended by Performance Audit and Compliance Audit teams and other auditors from the Office of the Auditor General of the Union (OAGM), Offices of the Auditor General of Regions/ States, and various levels of Audit Offices, was held in the Assembly Hall and the Meeting Room in the OAGM in Nay Pyi Taw from 9th to 13th December, 2019.
2. Activities conducted in the workshop are presentations and group discussions on data and techniques regarding report writing, identifying audit findings and evidence by relevant audit teams as in a dinner party, discussing responses to audit findings and collection of audit evidence, follow-up on the completion of executing phase by the teams.
3. By holding the Workshop, participants gained knowledge on activities, techniques and procedures in the report writing in the Performance and Compliance Audits.
4. The Permanent Secretary, the Director General from the Audit Department, the Deputy Permanent Secretary, the Deputy Director Generals from the Audit Department, auditors from the OAGM, Offices of the Auditor General of Regions/ States and various levels of Audit Offices, a total number of 122, attended the workshop.
5. On the second day of the Workshop, the experts from OAGN met the Permanent Secretary, the Director General from the Audit Department, the Deputy Permanent Secretary and Deputy Director Generals from the Audit Department, and discussed the matters and procedures for the report writing process, matters for the management team to take part in the discussion about audit findings by relevant teams as in a dinner party during the workshop, and the way forward.
