U Maw Than, The Auditor General of the Union, received the delegation from the World Bank led by Mr. Christopher Fabling, Public Financial Management Specialist, and responsible persons from Treasury Department, Budget Department and Ministry of Education, at the Meeting Room of the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, Nay Pyi Taw, at 1:00 PM on the 15th November, 2019.
During the meeting, they discussed main points in the Draft IPSAS Transition Plan and the implementation of the IPSAS Transition Plan regarding the transition towards the Public Sector Accounting Standards and Financial Reporting in line with the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
The Permanent Secretary, the Deputy Permanent Secretary and responsible persons from the Office of the Auditor General of the Union attended the meeting.
