The Auditor General of the Union received the delegation of ISCA, TF Intl and MICPA
U Maw Than, the Auditor General of the Union, received Mr. Kon Yin Tong, President of Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), Mr. Gerald Yeo, Senior Director of Teamasek Foundation International (TF Intl) and U Wan Tin, Chairman of Myanmar Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), at the Call Room of the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, Nay Pyi Taw at 12:30 pm on 26th June, 2019.
During the meeting, the delegates from ISCA shared Singapore’s experiences on accounting-related topics; and discussed that ISCA and TF Intl will explore the possibility of organizing a programme that aims to promote dialogue and exchange best practices in key areas that are important for the accountancy profession of both Myanmar and Singapore.
The Permanent Secretary, the Director General (Audit Department), the Deputy Director Generals and responsible persons from the office of the Auditor General of the Union attended the meeting.
