1. U Maw Than, the Union Auditor General received the delegation from ACCA led by Mr. Leo Lee, Vice President at the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, in Nay Pyi Taw at (10:00) a.m on 20th June, 2016.
2. In the meeting, they discussed about the current performance of the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, the activities conducting for the implementation of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSASs) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs) for SMEs, the supports from ACCA for improving the capacity building of the OAG’s staff and the Accountancy Profession, the recognition of the citizens who hold ACCA certificate as CPA and the event of Accounting & Auditing Fair .
3. At the meeting, the Permanent Secretary, the Director General (Audit Department) and the responsible officers from the Office of the Auditor General of the Union were also present.
