U Maw Than, the Auditor General of the Union received H.E Ann Ollestad, the Royal Norwegian Ambassador accompanied by the delegation from the Office of the Auditor General of Norway at the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, Nay Pyi Taw at 3:00 p.m. on the 3rd of May, 2016.
During the call, they discussed matters concerning the possibility of having a long-term collaboration between the two National Audit Institutions which would mainly focus on auditing of extractive industries sector that includes such areas of environmental audit, performance audit and financial audit, collaborating with other sectors development and also dicussed matters for short-term and long-term basis support of the Office of the Auditor General of Norway and matters concerning with acivities to be carried out in long-term cooperation.
At the meeting, Permanent Secretary, Director General (Audit Department) and other responsible officers from the Office of the Auditor General of the Union were also present.
