The annual meeting was held at 1:30 pm on 21st September 2020 virtually with Microsoft Teams Platform to discuss the implemented activities in the period of 2019-2020 and the way forward activities, with the assistance of the OAG Norway according to the MOU with OAG Norway.
At the meeting, U Maw Than, the Auditor General of the Union, delivered opening speech by briefing the completed activities with the assistance of the OAG Norway, experience, knowledge and benefits gained from these activities, and the meeting was held with five activities of the agenda.
During the meeting, the annual report of the cooperation for the period 2019-2020 was approved and the matters of the activities as per the 2020-2021 Plan, the challenges, the opportunities and the room for improvement in the cooperation activities, the measures to ensure effective collaboration under the COVID-19 situation and hand-over of assignment from the existing Long-Term Advisor to the new Long-Term Advisor were discussed. And then, the meeting was concluded at 3:30 pm.
The Union Auditor General, the Permanent Secretary, the Director General (Audit Department), the Deputy Permanent Secretary and the senior officials from the OAG Myanmar and the Head of International Department and the Long-Term Advisors from the OAG Norway were present at the meeting.
