Office of the Auditor General of the Union holds its fourteenth Waso Robe-offering Ceremony

  1. Office of the Auditor General of the Union held the fourteenth Waso robe-offering ceremony in accordance with the instruction of the National Level Central Committee for Prevention, Control and Treatment of COVID-19 at the Assembly Hall of this Office, Nay Pyi Taw at 10:00 AM on August 12, 2020.
  2. At the ceremony, venerable Buddhist monks from Phayarkyi Monastery and Yadanar Bummithara Monastery in Pyinmana were present and the staff of the Office of the Auditor General of Union led by U Maw Than, Union Auditor General offered Waso robes and provisions to the monks.
  3. Then Union Auditor General and the Staff adopted five precepts from the venerable monks and shared the merits gained. After the ceremony, monks were offered meals and the staff were treated to Monghinga.
