Donor Coordination Virtual meeting was held at 1:30 pm on 27th October 2020 with Microsoft Team Platform and attended by the representatives of the Development Partners, namely Asian Development Bank (ADB), European Union (EU), World Bank, German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI) and the Office of the Auditor General of Norway (OAGN).
At the meeting, U Maw Than, the Union Auditor General, delivered the opening speech and the meeting was held with four activities of the agenda.
At the meeting, the Union Auditor General expressed his appreciation to the Development Partners for providing technical assistance to the Office of the Auditor General of the Union and Myanmar Accountancy Profession, and supporting the staff from various fields of audit by enhancing capacity for high quality audit work. The representatives of the Development Partners presented ongoing activities and also planned projects which will be cooperated with the Office of the Auditor General of the Union. The Union Auditor General provided comments on those presentations and proposed future activities to be carried out. After discussion, the closing speech was delivered by the Union Auditor General and the meeting concluded at 3:00 pm.
The Union Auditor General, the Permanent Secretary, the Director General (Audit Department), the Deputy Permanent Secretary, the Deputy Directors General and the responsible senior officials from the Office of the Auditor General of the Union were present at the meeting.
