1. U Maw Than, the Auditor General of the Union, received Ms. Marta Russell, Technical Manager of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), Ms. Mahalah Groves, Head of Capacity Building of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and U Wan Tin, Chairman of Myanmar Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), at the Meeting Room of the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, Nay Pyi Taw at 10:00 a.m on 30th January, 2019.
2. During the meeting, they discussed the activities that were being conducted for the acceptance of MICPA as a member of IFAC, the Strategy (2019-2023) that would be implemented by MICPA and the support provided by ACCA in preparing it, and current activities of MICPA.
3. The Permanent Secretary, the Director General (Audit Department), the Deputy Permanent Secretary, Deputy Directors General and responsible persons from the Office of the Auditor General of the Union attended the meeting.
