1. U Maw Than, the Auditor General of the Union received the delegation led by Mr. Zhu Mingchun, Vice-Chairman of the Budgetary Affairs Commission and Member of the National People’s Congress Standing Committee of the People’s Republic of China, at the Call Room of the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, Nay Pyi Taw at 11:20 a.m on 6th November, 2018.
2. In this meeting, they discussed the matters concerning the Legal status and responsibilities of the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, auditing work on finance and budget, publicity and application of audit results, the relationship with the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw, the progress achieved and the challenge facing on enhancing public finance transparency and improving public finance performance.
3. The Permanent Secretary, the Director General (Audit Department), the Deputy Permanent Secretary, Deputy Directors General and responsible persons from the Office of the Auditor General of the Union attended the meeting.
