Myanmar Accountancy Council’s meeting 2/2012 held

The meeting (2/2012) of Myanmar Accountancy Council was launched at its office in Yangon this morning, in the presence of Chairman of Myanmar Accountancy Council Auditor-General of the Union U Thein Hteik ,Vice-Chairman of MAC Deputy Auditor-General U Myo Myint and the council members.
On the occasion, the Union Auditor-General made to a speech citing that accountant need to involve doing reforms in economy, financial and monetary sectors in accord with reforming process of governance of the State. He assured that any licensed accountant will run their business in their respective country of ASEAN member States in the year 2015 when accountancy service of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) will be favoured. All accountant in the country should be the perfect ones who have abilities to overcome that challenge. In the other hand, Myanmar Accountancy Council continues doing its reform process. Besides, all the council members are duty bound to advance the council’s reform process as much as they can, he added.
Afterwards, the vicechairman of MAC, chairman of MCPA and members participated in the discussion.
